Interesting Obamacare ruling

And that's exactly what I mean: yay, you just threw 6,000,000 people out of health insurance! Certainly worth celebrating!

These people would piss in their own drinking water if Obama told them not to do it.

Side note: did everybody notice that this is on the front page of every news source today and will dominate cable and the nightly news tonight?

You know what's been absolutely absent the last few months? Any sort of coverage about how it was working as advertised. The narrative on this has apparently already been finalized.

I meant that it's never been on the front pages, which have been dominated by: the IRS "scandal" hearings, Bengahzi, Benghazi, Obama helping Putin shoot down MH17, Obama enjoying a beer while MH17 plummeted to Earth, Obama playing pool/golfing while the world burns, Obama doing nothing while back in 1983 Reagan rushed back to the White House to deal with the Korean airliner downing (a complete lie). And now, Obamacare being dealt its "death blow."

Oh and let's not forget Boehner suing Obama because... Obamacare wasn't rolled out fast enough (?!?!) and the non-stop coverage when the website launched and sucked for a month.

I'm seeing a pattern here.

I think the thing that annoys me most about the ACA, well aside from it being written by the insurance industry, is the amount of power it gives the executive branch to write and amend essentially new laws.


Non's personal connections speak against the ACA too the Lust of my Life is a doctor and a flaming die-hard ruin a perfectly nice dinner conversation progressive....and she's trying to figure out how to go concierge. Claims the costs and pains of dealing with government and insurance have just gotten to be too much.

Non's brother's fatherinlaw is also a Doctor, he went concierge for the same reasons.

the whole ridiculousness of that is you need to legally still have some insurance even if you pay for your doctor in a non-insurance type way.

insurance is jsut one way to pay for health care. it's an exceedingly bad kind since it makes prices go up faster than they should but that's all it is, a way to pay
