Is it splitting hairs when police shootings are broke down by race, then adjusted for population?
So far this year, more whites have been shot by cops than Hispanic and Black folks combined.
Unarmed blacks are shot at a higher rate than any other race.
There's been a spike in police shootings, so I can see why one would believe that all lives matter. On the flipside, if you're a activist, I can see why you would want focus solely being on black folks affected, but trigger happy cops are shooting everyone. I'd think dropping the identity politics, and looking at the bigger picture would be the way to go about addressing this issue.
