Uhh no, we are just past the point where we blindly follow whatever the "national" policy is.
1. Putin is right. The Crimea is Russian. Hell, I'm pretty sure if several eastern regions were given the same referendum as Crimea, they would be a part of Russia also.
2. Crimea should have been part of Russia from the get go. No reason to double down on this mistake.
3. Say whatever you want, this still doesn't compare to the Iraq war.
4. While I disagree with his policies, Putin is a f**k leader. We don't have a leader, we have a president. It's refreshing to watch a bold, efficient leader with a vision ruthlessly carry it out for his nation.
5. I think Putin is truly in this for Russia. I think he truly wants Russia to be great. I can't say the same for most of this nations leaders.
I have to say I admire vlad. He is a master of realpolitik and has bested every challenger that has come his way. Barring a Russian implosion on his watch, I think he is the first and only great leader of the new millennium so far.
DON'T BE A TOUGH GUY. DON'T BE A FOOL! I WILL CALL YOU LATER.
