Politically speaking, what do you guys think the GOP member of Congress are feeling about this mess? On the one hand, many of them in conservative areas will feel pressure to always appear that they're enthusiastically fighting to make the repeal happen to prevent getting primary'd out by some used car salesman in their district who calls them a RINO. On the other hand, every variation of the GOP plan is so f**k unpopular, surely they don't want to be constantly put on the record declaring their support each new shitty version of this atrocity.
That leads me to think that as is often the case with controversial legislation, a good deal of these members really wish this all would just go away and there would be no more attempts to pass anything, no more votes, no more revised drafts with new awful shitty details that people will hear about. I know there are some diehards in both GOP caucuses that really want to keep trying and never give up until they get to pass some form of their monstrosity, but I would think a lot of them have to be going to leadership at this point and begging them, "We tried, repeatedly, and we didn't get it done. Now, PLEASE, don't make me go on the record about this shit again." Would be easy enough to continue to publicly insist that Congress must get their act together and repeal Obamacare, but not have to attach your name to any more specific pieces of legislation that everyone in the country hates.
go ahead. keep screaming "Shut The f**k Up " at me. it only makes my opinions Worse
