In a few decades or less, it could be manditory the general population submit to being chipped, submit to random drug testing and home searches, and everyone will be in the DNA data base. The peasents will be told that its for their own protection, (like the wiretap excuse their using now). They are demonstrating right now that they are above the law and constitution. Ther is no accountability anymore, and we will probably evolve into a high tech bananna republic.

You know all our memories get skewed by time.. But I don't remember people being this paranoid and willing to throw away their liberties this easily during the cold war..
Sure there was some of that.. But it just seems worse now.. I mean people almost seem like this is expected now, like it's the norm.. So oh well, nothing we can do about it.. What's for dinner?
