Its funny, something that's never been tried (selling HC over state lines) is said by liberals here as "it'll never work."

But Obamacare, which dozens of studies said wouldn't work, isn't working, is a royal cluster f l_l ck by even the most optimistic liberals out there, and that same liberal will turn around and say Obamacare is a better idea.

Yea well thedude, until HC is sold over state lines, you can't say it won't work. You're not God, you can't predict the future. I don't know what the hell makes you some kind of expert on this but I laugh in your face.

Consumers ALWAYS want more choices. Having a monopoly on providing health care is NEVER good for the consumer. Basic Econ 101.

Dude explained to you why it won't work--if you have evidence to the contrary, let's see it. Simply saying "Prove it won't work" is a "proving a negative" fallacy.

BTW you don't need to be "God" to understand that something won't work--that is more hyperbole.

But most telling is that 2 out of the 5 things you suggested are actually in there. How did you not know that, if you're going to dismiss everybody's opinion and throw shade on them?

They are not in there. What IS in there is penalties for NOT buying it. And correct me if I'm wrong, how many republicans voted for Obamacare again? So yes, when I talk about obamacare, I'm going to remind every one every single time that this is 100% the liberals doing. If it works, it's on the liberals. If it fails, its on the liberals.

Dude never explained why it won't work, dude just said it won't work. Or if he did, I never saw it. And remind me again, what makes his explanation Jesus Christ? He says it won't work and you say yep, won't work. Hundreds of people said Obamacare won't work and you blew them off because you love Obama and you love Obamacare.

I disagree that it is accurate to say that "Democrats basically own this law." It was compromised and whittled down in accordance to Republican ideas and conservative concerns to attract bipartisan support, closely resembling, for instance, the healthcare measure Romney implemented, but, in the final vote, the whole of the Republican Party decided to take a firm opposition, as they had and have been doing with virtually everything.

The tactic has been the following: President Obama endorses this? Defeat it at all costs regardless of its content and benefits. It's not that the ACA was unpalatable to Republican congresspersons, it's that the GOP's policy has been to oppose everything that comes out of the White House. It's not "let's try and push our policy agenda and meet somewhere in the middle," it's "let's try and ensure that the President fails at everything that he attempts, regardless of the effect this pathological policy has on the country."
