Can somebody explain to DWBH that "liberals" didn't want this. Liberals wanted single payer. But Obama caved and went with the Republican, yes, Republican idea in hopes of getting it passed.

Of course, little did he know that the only goal was to defeat anything he presented, so now we have this magical 180 for health care reform by the Republicans even though he presented their idea.

So enough of this talk about "liberals" and this being a "liberal" idea--as was explained you numerous times, the individual mandate is a REPUBLICAN idea that now, amazingly has become "liberal" and something to avoid at all costs.

I said this years ago and this proves it: the only definition of "liberal" is when They do it. Which is why the party is so absolutely bankrupt ideologically--that's not a logical philosophy, it's a bizarre world mindset that we'll attack anything that They do, even if it's something we support when we do it.

Which is why you see the GOP eating itself right now, because there is literally no ideological compass by which to navigate, except offer opposition to everything, no matter how valid, because the other party is in power.

Quit trying to change the subject.

They invented it, they pushed this idea relentlessly when the last Dem president attempted reform, and when this president actually implemented their idea now they were all against it.

Again: how do you explain that mind-blowing reversal?
