I honestly do not feel the US is in trouble with Trump as a president.

I am not sure how I got to that point. I am sure that opinion will change. But, this bombastic belligerence is necessary.

The system isn't working mostly because of the party of the people... who are complaining it's not working!

And now they're going to elect somebody who will ENSURE that it doesn't work, and then bitch about it even more.

That's not a free pass for Dems/neolibs, BTW, who are chin-deep in the corporate cash and plutocracy as well. I mean shit, as you pointed out, they let their most authentic populist/progressive--who had a chance--get left behind because they decided they're coronating Hillary.

Well you're right about the whole Trump/populist thing.

But here's where it gets f***ed: they're all for a "populist" (no matter how fake), if he's in The Party.

I saw some survey recently where all these GOPers were asked--these are the rank-and-file, BBQ-attired crowd at various rallies--about various Sanders ideas without them being identified as his. Guess what? They were pretty much in support of all of them.

Until you told them, then literally it was oh no, no no....

When people started electing people with no business governing because they elect people only to stick it to "the left," well, here we are.
