As these kids get older they will become more conservative.. Then hopefully they'll build and spend money on what this country really needs.. More Aircraft Carriers. The 11-12 we now have aren't nearly enough. We need one for every country in the world.

Spend money on better education and health care? Are they nuts?

This whole "I was liberal when I was young" mantra doesn't apply.

The GOP is not "conservative." The GOP has mutated into nothing more than a plutocratic lobbying group for big industry, finance and religious whack jobs.

You're going to have a tough road ahead if you think people will be lining up to sign up for this once they start... aging.

People most certainly get more conservative as they get older. Jobs..Family.. Economic condition all enter into play.. It hardens you, you become less worried about 'others' and bettering the world.

But becoming more conservative and moving far to the right, like the current GOP has, is 2 different things. It's become obvious that the current hard turn to the right by the GOP has turned off many of their middle of the road conservatives.
