1.) I'm pretty sure you have to prove in some way that you are who are you when you register.
2.) I'm pretty sure you always have to sign when you vote..so in order to scam the system you would have to vote under someone else's name.
3.) My issue more than anything, is that these f**k were messing with the system right before the election, not in the early summer of an odd year out.
Individual voter fraud almost never happens in the first place. There is far more suppression of votes by limiting polling places in certain neighborhoods, than there ever has been with individual voter fraud. So on one hand..yeah I guess pass it during a time frame where it doesn't directly mess with elections, AND provide free, easy access to get the ID..Don't be ultra transparent, and make this an issue in hotly contested swing states right before the friggen election.
So in short..the bulk of opposition has to do with HOW it is done, as opposed to if it should be.
Also..I haven't heard of anyone being able to vote online..Where in the hell can you vote online?
