Basically what I am saying is that the nuclear family unit is a repressive social structure, a fact which has been recognized for at least 2000 years.

Then he tried to back it up with some piss poor bullshit. It is tougher than being a miner or any other job you can actually clock out of, or take sick days or vacation days. Management is the closest I've come to the time consuming crap that being a custodial parent involves. And getting the kids to sleep whenever you wanna pop back a few??? I don't f**k think so.
Ya know, I get annoyed by how these broads play up the "toughest job EVA" BS too. But that shit was just lame and makes it sound like it some kind of cakewalk. That boy know f**k all about being a miner and even less about being a parent.
I lived both sides of this. You can quit a job for your kids but you can't quit your kids over a job.
