We're saying the same thing.
You keep coming back to the poor people without insurance problem. I'm saying the reason they don't have insurance in the first place is because they can't afford it. The answer is not making them get insurance nor is it making me pay for their insurance. The answer is making it affordable.
By making it affordable, you open up a wide range of things that can be done. the ONLY reason single payer is not feasible now is because it would cost way too much. That's not even on the table until we bring down health care costs.
Before you deal with ANYTHING you have to deal with insurance costs , health care costs. Anything, including this we have now, is pissing in the proverbial wind
To use an analogy it would be like if 1. Obama decided that every american should have a car. But the ONLY cars that you could buy were 30k cars and above. Then Obama looking at the scope of the problem and saying okay, since you can't afford a 30k car, I'm going to tax everyone else so that you can go and buy a 30k car and have them pay for it. Yet democrats don't see a problem with this. The problem is not people not having cars, the problem is that the cars cost too damn much lol.
Your question to me is like saying "well what are you going to do when the the guy without a car has to travel from New York to Michigan" . The answer is still not to give everyone a 30k car lol. The answer is to make cars affordable.

I don't think anyone is anti health insurance. I don't want poor people to not have insurance.
