Listened to testimony while driving into work today - could see anything (obviously) but I thought the testimony itself sounded very compelling. The GOP appointing a prosecutor to question Ford might've sounded good in hindsight but it felt like Ford was on trial for pretty lame minutiae. They're just trying to punch several small holes in her story to create doubt about the veracity of her overall claims.

If Kavanaugh still gets confirmed I'll be surprised.

She seems credible. I'm glad she decided to come forward, and didn't get scared off by the backwards, shameful cowards who oppose hearing what she has to say.

Testimony is evidence, dingleberry. Often this type of evidence is not enough to secure a conviction in the court of law. Luckily this isn't a court, she isn't testifying to a jury, and you sound mad dumb having those expectations.

I loved the half crying voice of Ford in her opening statement. Annoying but good optics lending cred to her testimony.

I'd half to ask Mrs. Ford, "at the time you willingly walked up "narrow stairs" to the bedrooms on the second floor, allegedly with the inebriated 15 year old Mr. Kavanaugh and Mr. Judge, where were you expecting to go? And what did you intend or expect to happen?

IMO they were going to make out or something like what drunken teenagers do at parties. I wish there existed a police report detailing the "groping, hand over the mouth" and any other details. Anything corroborating anything would be useful.

I'd also ask whom arranged her lawyer shopping and polygraph testing in Maryland? IMO it was Sen. Feinstein's office.
