Civil disobedience is typically fine. Go ahead, block the interstate, chain yourself to some oil pipeline, occupy that college building. Whatever. Similarly, men occupying this site is fine. I'm even okay with them having guns, as guns are allowed to be carried in that state and in that environment. Of course the moment they state that they will use those guns against officers upholding the law, they've moved clearly and unequivocally away from civil disobedience, and are now domestic terrorists. The moment they point those guns at officers, they need to be shot.

This is a very sensical position to take. The fact that we have a bunch of gunowners here talking about how it's not sensical is indicative of how delusional and sick the modern gun owner mentality is.

Ideally they'll just be forced out by the blockade and nothing will happen, the whole thing will peter out. But there are certain lines that demand a strong and stiff response, and pointing weapons at officers or threatening them with gunfire if they move to arrest you? Those are two such lines.

btw.....spilling red-neck blood aside...their cause, in so far as it's in opposition to mandatory minimums in federal sentencing, is a noble one.
