I think any time you want to talk seriously about obesity you talk about:
-The glut of junk food/huge sugar sodas that make up childrens' diets
-The fact that kids sit all day in school, then go home and sit online/in front of the computer--key word, "sitting"
-For adults who have no time, the total lack of non-fattening alternatives available
You have to go to the grocery store for those kind of things because I can assure you, finding healthy meals at fast food joints or anything less than a grocery store is damn near impossible. Next time you go into a mini-mart, marvel at how everything in there is loaded with calories, fat, carbs or all three.
The title of the OP is misleading. The article is about how the workplace/workload facilitates obesity and since more women are in the workforce, ergo more women will be obese.
It has nothing to do with... women's lib. He's burying the lead.
