LGBT people are 42% more likely to be convicted or a crime or expelled from school than heterosexual people, even when accounting for evidence. You can find that link in my previous post. All the other stats I've cited come from either the FBI hate crime report, or can be verified simply by typing the stat into Google. I'll provide the links when I'm on my computer.

This whole dismissing homosexuals because blacks and natives is a ridiculous argument. Homosexuals are the most hated group on the planet. I'd love to hear the logic that shows how race and sexual orientation aren't the same thing. They are both inherent personal characteristics that exist on a biological continuum.

Yeah, I would say that gays are definitely systematically oppressed as far as the criminal justice system goes. Both the inmates and guards abuse them constantly.

A lot of of it is with a wink and a nod, nowadays. But it is still systemic oppression, just not officially.

Why would you want to march in any parade where you weren't welcome? They probably would get bombed by beer filled condoms anyway.There are plenty of homo friendly venues that are welcoming to anyone wanting to prance down the street swishing their hips too.
