The real question is why should I care that Jeb Bush says it was "a good deal" vs. Hillary Clinton saying it was bad. The fact is that Clinton's epiphany on Iraq being a bad idea came about at the exact same time that opposition to the Iraq War became a political requirement for a future in Democratic elected politics. That alone is not so bad. Policies are supported, prove to be disastrous, and lessons are learned. But nothing since her change of heart on Iraq has shown me that she approaches foreign policy any differently now than she did before. This isn't some angsty "both parties are the same" post. Hillary Clinton in particular is very keen on the use of military force as a Plan A.
