this is the issue. well, the issue is really jobs for people who feel left out by our economic recovery. it's about working class folk thinking they need more than what they are getting, and they feel as though NAFTA is the reason for why all them plants closed down and all them people lost them jobs. TPP would in turn be viewed as a disaster, even though, of course, it doesn't even include china.

for generations the us government has pursued free trade. it's the one bipartisan thing we always have had, but in reality our opposition to it was diluted between both parties, its not that it didn't exist. this populist nationalistic protectionist demographic has been ignored, completely, for basically forever. they were lost in the main parties, fractured, and unable to find a voice. they found their voice, in trump and bernie sanders, and it's a sizable part of the population.

He's right, people who lost their jobs to overseas companies and aren't intelligent enough to find something else are butthurt about it and want Trump to fix that, despite the fact that he admitted in a debate you have to work hard and get in the upper management to be successful.

Previous elections would of destroyed a candidate like him, he has grown because of the media.
