I agree, unless you are willing to reject the many inherently unfair and illogical characteristics of our current distribution model there's no point in discussing one that isn't unfair.
There are many possibilities beyond a social dynamic derived from the basis of exchange of resources as a pretext for the purposes of diverting resource surpluses toward the exclusive use of a few private individuals.
