Reminder: We have already gone to war with China since the invention of Atomic Weapons. 50,000 US Soldiers died. 300,000 Chinese died. Not to mention the country we shattered, half of which is still the worst place on earth today. I don't know why you think we can't have a serious war because of nuclear weapons. We already did it once.
And you know whats worse...nothing has changed. If north korea invaded the south tomorrow, we would step in and back south korea and china could very well come in and back the north. We would be right back to 1950, with generals calling for nukes while politicians tell them to chill the f**k out. In the end you fight for a year or two, tens of thousands die, and you move on. It's entirely plausible today just like it was in 1950.
