Good professional practice maybe, as anything can offend anyone these days, but some people take the shit way too far. There's a difference between adding to a hostile work environment in the workplace and simply stating a personal opinion. Personally, if someone I work with is anti-gay marriage, I think they should be able to voice that opinion at the workplace when asked without being fired for it. Then you have the end of political correctness that picks and chooses who you can condemn in public. Christians? Fine. Muslims? You're a f*cking Islamophobist.
