You're literally saying nothing. And apparently unaware of the history of civil rights in this country.
Dismissing proposed bigotry as actual policy with "we've always been a nation of bigots".... literally doesn't say anything or answer anything.
And then you're misdirecting your "learn your history or be doomed to repeat it" ominous warning at me--that should be directed to Trump and Galt. I'm not the one "repeating" anything.

If your point is that we're better than other countries, that's true. But as any American knows, all other countries suck. So it's not a high bar to pass. It's an American tradition to discriminate, including religiously. It's not just in our early history either, but throughout. We are getting better about this as time goes on, not worse, which is why Trump's proposal won't ever be realized.
