How so? If this guy's killing spree had affected my life, I'd be more satisfied knowing that he's paying for it now, will still be paying for it in 10 years, and considering the unlikelihood of his showing any remorse (he doesn't even acknowledge that he committed a criminal act), will be paying for it for the rest of his life. I'm a mean sonofabitch, and I feel that for some, death is too kind. If killing someone is the only way to stop them, fire away. Breivik's been stopped though, so killing him is not necessary. If I had any emotional stake in this, I'd rather his punishment lasted years rather than the few seconds it would take to electrocute him.
