It is a straightforward and honest question and I'll ask it myself.
Why do so many white males support relationships (marriage and dating) with black women, but so few actually participate in those kinds of relations?
IMO black women are being avoided by everyone due to perceived views of their upwards mobility in regards to socioeconomic and long-term prospects, both of which are important factors for young adults looking to find long-term partners. Young adults in modern times, especially those who have began their careers, are going to be looking for partners that have had similar success or are going to have similar success, as people tend to have relationships within the economic classes. Another important factor with modern young couples is that they are waiting longer to have children. The pregnancy rate amongst black women can def be a turnoff for males of any ethnicity who are looking to wait to have children. In 2008, black women had the highest percentage of unintended pregnancies in the country, meaning young males on their path towards affluence are going to be weary of dating a woman whom may already have a child and the numbers suggest young black women are most likely to have a child then women of other ethnic groups.
