On another note, I've never understood why people think so poorly of Obama's international leadership. In my opinion, he has done an exceptional job. About the best you can expect one man to do with that much shit given to him. Iraq and Afghanistan. The Arab Spring. Ukraine. Iran. North Korea. Amazingly, he's resisted attempts to get the US involved in a bunch of unnecessary conflicts, while still staying atop the massive institution of violence and degradation we call global hegemony. It's nice to see someone who can operate competently on both the strategic and tactical level. He is a vicious hawk when he needs to be, and a fluffy pussycat when he doesn't. It's working. I disagree with what Obama's goals are on a very real level, but seriously, the guy has done a damned stellar job when it comes to foreign policy.
Or maybe Bush lowered my standards that much.
I dunno.
