Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.

6000 page report on torture - Obama sums it up "So we tortured some folks" - the response just makes me feel more disillusioned.

And of course Obama is saying that torture is bad ect ect and paying lots of lip service to the issue just like during the Ferguson debacle, but a year from now Gitmo will be open, the CIA will still be torturing people, the war on drugs will be ongoing. Nothing substantive happens, just a few empty platitudes and half measures for the cameras until the next 'crisis' happens. RInse repeat.
