The death penalty isn't really an appropriate fit for anything, as it holds no pragmatic value in protecting the public from unreasonable people,... but society and politics aren't developed enough to seriously look at alternatives, so not much point in railing against it...

How is it that I'm perhaps the one person in the country that doesn't care either way. My main concern is that he's forgotten. If he's dead and forgotten, or in a jail cell and forgotten, I don't care.
