To many people living in danger zones. But what you going to do? After the water drains off, we just move on to the most current disaster/dilemma. Probably the statues or the idiot of N Korea. But who really knows?
The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done.

I agree with the article and it's premise but...
Living in CA and the bay area specifically...I do not like municipal boards that zone to restrict development and support NIMBY efforts when it comes to building new housing. I feel like Houston is an extreme example in the lax regulation arena and I think the bay area is the opposite...it's so f**k hard to get new homes built here.

World wide, people don't exactly not live around volcano's either. Eventually there will be a national bo hoo required for Seattle when Mt. Rainier goes off. To many living in danger zones, and getting worse every year.
