This is a bullshit lawsuit. The fact that they were able to stay pass hours meant that there wasn't anyone else waiting for the space after them, so it's not really lost revenue. But more importantly, they're providing an after school service for their kids. If the school doesn't care that the church organizations stay late, why would an atheist group that's not associated with the school care?

It's ridiculous that they took evidence of overstaying from a picture and extrapolate to every weekend over the years. Only atheists would think that Christians would hold 50hour services every week.

It isn't for weekends. It's for the whole week, and they have evidence that the church overstayed on the days they utilized the facility by the Facebook pictures and other relevant evidence.

The worst thing to do with an asset such as a building is to let it go to waste if there are community organizations that can benefit from them.
The church is utilizing an otherwise unused facility. It should also have received a discount because the building was not up to standard. But instead of getting a discount it paid full price and simply opted to make up the difference in extended time.
