in what context would the women have to buy seperate insurance? like if they are state employees or something?

Moot point and bill... I heard from an expert Tea Party person that women can't get pregnant from being raped. They magically turn off their reproductive organs..

It's the gov't telling you that if you are the victim of a crime that you must purchase insurance to deal with the consequences of that crime. You. The victim.

Sorry, I meant you had to already HAVE the insurance because if you didn't prior to the crime you're not allowed to purchase it after it.

It has everything to do with what I said: those allegedly outraged by Obamacare say "Gov't out of our healthcare!" Um, as I pointed out, an insurance mandate isn't gov't even being "in" your healthcare but this certainly is--this is telling insurance companies that something they have been covering now they may not because a bunch of Jesus Camp lunatics are offended.

If you were the victim of a shooting and went to the hospital, the insurance would certainly cover that. If you're a victim of rape, though, the gov't is saying that--and remember this would most likely be the day OF or AFTER--oh well this is "abortion" and the victim must pay for that herself, or have already in place a supplemental policy that covers it.

It is beyond sick on so many levels.

This law seems very discriminatory towards a specific group.. So I doubt it will stand up in court..

But anyway unless women in Michigan, or even minor girls because of incest have to have insurance PRIOR to a rape, and if they don't a raped woman or victim of incest has to pay for a crime that a man committed?

AM I reading that right?
