I'd actually like to see a de-coupling of insurance from employers, but given the context it's a good thing.
Also something of interest to note is that the ACA might drive down car insurance costs because more people will make their claims via health insurance when applicable. I never thought of that until I read an article on it this morning.

Not going to see a decoupling of anything until the single payer switch is flipped

All I can think of as this all goes down is... 7.1 million, okay: GOP, your move.
What is their plan? Last I heard (yesterday) it was: we're going to come up with an "alternative," and that'll take something like a year to formulate. Oookay.
Anybody who says "health savings accounts" or "across state lines" gets the hose. Now put the lotion in the basket...

Um, I support solving the issue.
So you've got two choices: the supremely flawed Obamacare and... nothing.
Just make it f***ing single payer and get it over with. We pay trillions to kill people but not billions to take care of our own? Please.
And what "capitalism-loving" society saddles business owners with being healthcare providers?
Now that I've proposed a solution, let's see who opposes it. And therein lies the problem. I include Obama too, because he didn't come up with single-payer now, did he?

In day's partisan rambling aside, I really do think that in time we're going to find this system, while an improvement over what we had before, also untenable and eventually single payer will be ushered in.
