For anyone questioning why this is in the abortion forum, I do so because the fact that this sort of thing is considered acceptable is part of the whole contemptuous disregard or respect for innocent human life that allows for things like abortion.

Having Downs Syndrome is also still seen in these allegedly enlightened times as a valid excuse for killing a child in the womb.

i love the argument for quantity of life over quality of life.

I read the article. The poor man is being peg fed because he can't swallow, which is absolutely horrible and the fact he has Down's and dementia probably means he isn't able to comprehend why he is suffering so much.

I'm reserving judgement at the moment, but in any case, this has nothing to do with abortion.

I wonder if the term "useless eater" was tossed around? Probably not. They'll need more lovingly liberal labels this time.

Those legal concepts only concern people.
