I'm not a big death penalty proponent--in fact, I'm not--but if there was a case where it was justified, this'd be it.

the main culprit is already dead, this guys was his boy wonder and a teenager too.

up to 16. the defense is that he did it but was under the sway of his older brother. he pleaded not guilty, but in the opening statement the defense said "it was him". they just plead not guilty in order to try to get out of the death penalty as the government refused to take it off the table. the jury found him guilty of conspiracy to commit these crimes, meaning, the jury found him a culpable person along with his brother. i don't think they'll buy the defense's argument.
