God is an argument

I've got a question to religious conservatives. Why do you find it possible to mention God as an argument in political discussions? There are several reasons why I believe it is wrong. 1) America is a secular country. We respect minorities and respect their rights, even if it is a right to deny God. 2) Divine truth is not universal. Muslims and Christians do not agree on many points and there is nothing wrong about it. We are still capable of living peacefully in one country. 3) The last one is common sense. There is no place for fiction and emotional manipulation in politics, especially when it comes to nationwide decisions.

Who gives a damn if people bring God up in a argument, just tune it out.

In our early history we had "Manifest Destiny". That was basically Gods blessing to take what we wanted, so we did. See, we like god when its for our benefit.
The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done.
