"but black and on black crime" is often used a way to silence discussions of racism and police brutality, because it's never "let's talk about black on black crime too" it's always "this is a bigger problem so you shouldn't be talking about what you're talking about and should instead focus on this". it's also a subtle way of taking all blame off anyone else and assigning it to victims.

That woman rings faithful to every black woman i've known except for some strippers. Hard nosed when needed or deserved and sweet as pie if she cares.

She granted that police brutality exists, and it does. And it will eternally be a problem as long as there are police. Some people are assholes, there is no getting around that. They should be dealt with and harshly.

But as that woman makes crystal clear, everyone is ultimately responsible for themselves.

Until and when we recognise that we are all the same race, we will have this shit.

I agree with her 100%, and under the rug it goes with all the other truths we can't handle. Black lives matter only when its ended by a non black.
