Fast food restaurants are responsible for child obesity: Here are some reasons why I think that. People choose the wrong and unhealthy meals and can be addicting. some people cannot control their eating habits. I think the restaurants should care about what people are eating. There are adults and kids that do not go and do sports or physical activities. Our bodies handle differently. There have been kids that are over sized at a very young age. Eating correctly can cause you to have health issues. They can limit on their fast food, but you should not go everyday for the wrong food that does not give you the right nutritious for your body.

It contributes, but I would say the #1 reason is lack of physical activity. Today's generations spend their entire free time indoors, online or playing video games. When I was a kid you couldn't get us to stay inside. Now you can't get them to go outside.

True, but I think that goes back to bad parenting as well.
If you're gonna feed your kids junk, and let them be raised by a Xbox, don't be surprised when you end up with a little diabetic chub.

This is so culturally divided. Where I work and live in NYC, you barely see any fats except the tourists. And you see people everywhere drinking kale smoothies for breakfast etc. There is definitely more health food being advertised and sold now than 20 years ago. But when I visit family in central PA there are fats everywhere, and the stats tell me there is tons of obesity in NYC, but it's mostly out in the poorest areas of the outer boroughs.

I live in a Crossfit gym and everyone can do 100 pull ups.

And then spend the next few days telling everybody endlessly about how they can do 100 pull-ups, along with posting it on Facebook, like with all things CrossFit?
