http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015 ... quds-kurdsIt seems like Donald Trump doesn't know the difference between Hamas and Hezbollah. Though the question was obviously staged a presidential candidate has to know more about the world politics than an ordinary person. Because the president has to be better than the most of us. I understand that he is going to win even if he doesn't know anything about Middle Eastern politics but that makes me wonder if I really need to vote for him.

Pretty sure his base would actually think less of him if he made such distinctions.

Hamas is a middle eastern garbanzo bean dip eaten by liberals.
Hezbolla was the virus broke out in Africa last year.
Both come from shitty parts of the world and both will make you puke.

They put up a stiff resistance last time they tangled with Jews, in 06.
I think their overall strategy is too loose a little less each time.

if leveling half of beirut was israel's goal then they won handily. if it was to hurt to hezbollah they failed miserably. they were VERY unwilling to commit large scale ground forces to fight hezbollah because they knew it would have been a bloodbath.

Israel Chief of staff Dan Halutz said, "if the soldiers are not returned, we will turn Lebanon's clock back 20 years"
Mission Accomplished.

cool. they hurt lebanese civilian infrastructure. that really showed hezbollah who gained shitloads of support and even more funding from iran after the conflict. it's like having beef with someone's son so you just burn his parents house down. yeah you accomplished your goal, assuming your goal was to be a retard.
all of the prisoners were killed anyways, the UN brokered a ceasefire, it was a military stalemate, hezbollah was not disarmed, AND israel agreed to the prisoner exchange that hezbollah demanded when they kidnapped the soldiers in the first place. not to mention setting lebanese-israeli relations back probably a century. if you're looking for a decisive israeli victory the 2006 invasion of lebanon is not it. hesbollah is not hamas. they are not ISIS. they are grossly overfunded and equipped trained paramilitary force.
