the shrieking hysteria of that article notwithstanding, this is not making anyone a second-class citizen. still, i disapprove. i think it goes too far; while i do think that people should be able to discriminate in regards to event participation (people shouldn't be forced to bake for an event they disprove of if they don't want to), this is very different than discriminating against someone for who they are or what they do. electing to not be part of an event that is offensive to you ought be your right

I don't think it's a fallacy at all in this case. And yes, when you give people permission do deny people care or services based on their sexual orientation or marital status, that is making them second-class citizens.

All because they claim God permits this.

I'd say the "hysterical" people are the ones passing laws allowing you to discriminate against somebody who has non-marital sex, because God says so.
