the shrieking hysteria of that article notwithstanding, this is not making anyone a second-class citizen. still, i disapprove. i think it goes too far; while i do think that people should be able to discriminate in regards to event participation (people shouldn't be forced to bake for an event they disprove of if they don't want to), this is very different than discriminating against someone for who they are or what they do. electing to not be part of an event that is offensive to you ought be your right

I don't think it's a fallacy at all in this case. And yes, when you give people permission do deny people care or services based on their sexual orientation or marital status, that is making them second-class citizens.
All because they claim God permits this.
Is there anything you don't f***ing oppose when it comes to this right-wing insanity?

Hey John I don't like your religion so you can't eat here.
Hey John you had sex before marriage so you're fired.
Hey John you're gay so I'm evicting you.
Hey John I don't like white people get out of my establishment.
This is all ok because God says so.
All from the same people who shriek and wet their pants daily about how they're victimized as Christians because, for instance, a Starbuck's cup wasn't Jesus-y enough.
You can stand up against this shit or you can say nothing and let it escalate. You've clearly chosen the latter.

You just said it all. People denouncing this are the "hysterical choir."
I'd say the "hysterical" people are the ones passing laws allowing you to discriminate against somebody who has non-marital sex, because God says so.
