If Trump thought he could pull the EU with him against the JCPOA he appears to have misjudged his power. And now if EU states aren't put on the exceptions list for the Aluminum/Steel tariffs...we will be sanctioning our global peers.
We are dividing while outside enemies are uniting further. This is what Russia wants.

Iran has recently noted that it is open to staying in the treaty if other participants in it stick to the original framework...

Which makes one wonder if the rest of the world is ready to sideline the US? And how that would work with US sanctions in effect (EU nations wouldn't be able to do business - or anybody that wants to trade with the US)?
