its crazy that the 2nd amendment types who have been stockpiling for this day end up supporting the guy doing the thing they had used as justification as to why they needed weapons
anyway, what will likely happen in my mind is trump will claim victory and refuse to leave but will be escorted out by the military, as the military is not in his pocket. there will be civil unrest and people will die, yes, but i do believe by early next year Biden will be president and I think he might even be looking at majority in both houses, at which time i think they should go with the "constitutional option" and f**k all of the senate rules, written and unwritten, and transform this country so we don't have this kind of thing ever happen again
pack the court
end the tyranny of the superminority in the senate, change rules so that the senate majority leader should not control the entirety of debate but rather that percentage of time to introduce items would be given to all parties based on the size of their caucus
oh also try to get some big reforms. cube root of population == number of house of representatives. either force districting to be controlled by an algorithm or remove it entirely in favor of party-list voting for house members. add puerto rico as a state if they vote to be a state this year. add in one senator for DC, remove the VP from having tie breaker. add in all territories to have house representatives. establish a variety of government entites as constitutionally protected. establish a department of the national trust in which all elected officials must put their money into for the duration of their service. establish rules about how all elected officials and all appointed officials must release all their financial information. force police reforms that require police to be accredited by a national body in order to have a job. we need to build back trust in our institutions and it starts next year. but first is to get rid of trump and all his enablers

My life has become a single, ongoing revelation that I haven’t been cynical enough.
