Personally, I favor a more laissez faire approach to moderation. This forum is already way over moderation to the point that witty and interesting discussions are stifled. Good moderation will not bring in new users, but bad moderation can certainly drive away people. Thus, the safest approach is moderate as little as possible, and to have as few individuals with moderation powers as possible. From such a vantage point, I think it's clear you guys are presuming a problem when there is, in fact, no real issue. Less moderation is good, uber has less time to moderate... all is well with the world. Galt is perfectly capable of keeping the nerd shit in order (and keeping exploited dick away from this forum), no more mods or admins are needed.

Obviously my ideas, while theoretically sound and practical, will be ignored or dismissed. I can't save this place single handedly with my good ideas if people want to insist we move in a more fascist direction. So as an alternative, professor would be an acceptable mod.
