That's incomplete.

Suspension is fine. You did something wrong, so now you can't post, til you can again, at the predetermined time when your suspension will end. You gotta take a break and that's a good way to deal with misbehavior.

This thing is indefinite but with the attitude of "well you can still post", which is going to be used to justify keeping it in place even longer, but you can't contribute much to a discussion when all your posting is delayed. Most suspensions are pretty brief but we have no time frame about this.

Suspensions work for everyone. At least I can't figure out any way to post on a suspended account.

the point is to alter their behavior. if they just keep coming back and breaking the rules then what is the point of suspending them? there is none. and banning them is unsavory. so you have this, where you can still post just at a slower pace.


i know you like to complain about every change (your track record is flawless so far) but you aren't really thinking this through at all. maybe ueber could just implement a three strike rule and permaban people. would this be more acceptable to you? allowing people to break the rules is not really an option. PP was evidence of that.

No I prefer suspending people for breaking the rules. I think I might have mentioned that already.

And you don't need to get all emotional just cause we have a difference of opinion about this policy. It's the feedback section, and we're all giving our own feedback on the matter.

not sure where i got emotional but i'm sure you have a better insight into my emotional state than i do.

and yes i'm aware of what you're saying. it just makes absolutely no sense and is inconsistent with the desired goal.
