Any chance we could start a humor forum for funny news items. I found a gun story that simply hilarious and real, but really doesn't belong in any of the existing forums

We've had humor forums before and theyre just thread graveyards. Genuinely funny threads get sent there and then they're never heard from again.

Let me check with uebermann. When we first set the site up one thing we didn't want to do is swamp the index page with tons of sub-forums partly because we didn't want people to have to scroll up and down constantly because we originally planned to have a shout box added. Even a couple of forums I wanted to add weren't ever implemented for that simple reason.

We are not against adding sub-forums but we have to look at the real necessity of it if another sub-forum can be used.

Where will all of Galt's threads go if not in the Humor forum?
