Thoughts on consolidating the forum?

I was thinking about moving some of the threads around and getting rid of some of the subforums. At this point, for the amount of traffic we get, it feels like there are just far too many.
Thoughts?

I agree. Keep General Discussion, Frontpage News, Entertainment and The Lounge. Get rid of the rest, IMO.

Well I always look at "View Active Topics" so it's kind of irrelevant for my experience, but I still think it's a good idea because guests don't have access to the active topics feature so a potential member would be going from section to section not seeing much. Plus it's always just bad forum policy to have ghost town sections.

IMO there's 4-5 you can get rid of.. The conspiracy theories forum hasn't had a post in it since May. That would be a good one to ditch.

Yeah, wouldn't mind having fewer and more active sub-forums.
Frankly, no use in having a "guns", a "religion" and other sub-forums. They all end up talking about BIG GOVERNMENT and comparing someone to Hitler, anyway.
