My takeaway is that to grow this forum needs to make sure the seven users with the longer strings are enjoying the forum. Thread starting has its place but participation is the key. People who start a thread and never post another message can be good for starting conversations but they also can stop others from bothering to start good meaningful threads that they will participate in. Lurkers will always be lurkers. One of my suggestions that wasn't well received was a requirement to reach 10 posts before being allowed to start a thread in all but the welcome forum.

Keep in mind that two of those guys with bars at or near 100% are not really new posters, but returning vets.\
I also don't exactly know what constitutes a participation rate percentage?
