Is chat now being moderated?

Just out of curiousity. The other day I called Spider a fag**t, and now it says [redacted - play nice ex]. Which is cool, if you want to moderate the chat, that's your business. However, I was under the impression that there has been a long-standing agreement that chat isn't a moderated area. I would much prefer if that continues. That way, if I want to call Spider a fag**t, there is a place to do it.

Franz used to moderate chats on the old forum. It was among the many grievances against him. Knowing spider he probably cried about a f**k CHAT comment and got his buddies on the mod team to remove it.

chat is part of the site and has no different rules than any other section. I don't know why you thought otherwise, but you are mistaken on that point.
