If you belonged to one of the many groups that are marginalized in our society perhaps you would have a different attitude.

You've just totally ignored the fact that our leader can now arbitrarily order the murder of a US citizen without recourse to due process and the same corrupt judicial system you say is not authoritarian says it's legal. That is dictatorship by definition.

It's a well-known fact that for decades,m for one example, the vast majority of americans have clamored for some form of universal health care. The government flat-out ignored in favor of corporate interest. This is a given.

That doesn't make the US a dictatorship, it makes it a corporatocracy. Akin to fascism when coupled with the pervasive police state.

It's the fact that it's leader now has to the authority to dictate outcomes for individual citizens because of his own arbitrary decision rather than a due process in court of law that makes the US a dictatorship.

The fact that it is a quasi-fascist type of dictatorship kind of goes without saying.

I find it somewhat hypocritical that in one thread you deride those who seek to impose their cultural values on others and here you talk about the re-engineering of every single society on the planet to accept idealized uniform and so-called universal norms. I'm not even going to argue with you about it because it's frankly an irrelevent daydream, just thought it was interesting.
