Total annual income in the US is around $8 trillion, according to NASA (just Google total annual income of all US taxpayers). If income were split equally, every person in the US (I just rounded down to 300 million) would make $26,000 a year.
That seems like a reasonable minimum goal for full-time work. It works out to about $12.50 an hour. Start with that and index it to inflation.
