Why do the politicians talk about “House of Cards”?

Obama likes it, Clintons like it, Cruz likes it… More and more big politicians say that “House of Cards” is a brilliant TV series if to talk about the artistic merit. But further their opinions vary, Bill Clinton claims that series is 99% true, Ted Cruz says that it’s all lies and there’s no killers in the Congress. Why do you think they talk about the TV series that discredits the government? To raise their ratings?

Ted Cruz doesn't know that Clinton murdered someone while she was in Congress. Bill Clinton knows.
Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.

They just have nothing to do so they watch tv shows 24/7. If they really worked they wouldn't have any time for that. It looks like Obama spends all his time by giving interviews and flying around the world meeting the other countries' leaders.
